2 Day Festival Overall results
1st Paul Gardiner (Barford Tackle) 2 points 250lb 12ozs
2nd Lee Carver (Barford Tackle) 4 points 236lb 10ozs
3rd Zak Worby (Cresta/Gamakatsu/Barford Tackle) 4 points 223lb 15ozs
Paul had perfect section point score and won the lake both days. He fished the Pleasure Lake peg 13 on day on and fished an 8mm pellet over soacked Barford 2mm pellet at 6 metres and had 14 carp to 15lb and caught steady throughout the match to win the lake with 144lb. The match lake had some better weights with Davie Jarvis catching 157lb caught on maggot down the edge and Marti Jermyn 2nd place with 151lb. Third place and 3 section points went to Lee Carver with his 143lb.
Day 2 saw Paul Garidner catch on the same method but at 5 metres from peg 13. The peg was late to come on and Paul had most of of his fish in the last 2 hours and had carp to 12lb. Lee Carver fished worm at 6metres form peg 18 on the Pleasure lake to win the lake with 93lb, unfortunatly with only 3 points the day before wasn’t enough to catch Paul’s perfesct 2 ponit score.
3rd place overall was Barford Tackle employee Zak Worby who also had 4 points but was just 3lb short of 2nd overall.
