Day Ticket this weekend and next

We will have day tickets available this Saturday 29th August on the Pleasure Lake only. Sorry but we are closed for day tickets on Sunday 30th August.
Next weekend there is Day Tickets on the Top and Pleasure Lakes on Saturday 5th September and Sunday 6th September.
On Monday 7th September we will be open for day tickets on all 3 lakes at Barford. You may book which lake you wish to fish on (this is advisable as we have anglers practising for a big match during the week).
Tuesday 8th September the Pleasure Lake will be open for Day Tickets on a first come first served basis and the Top lake is open for Day tickets and you may book a space by telephoning us on 01603 759624.
Please note: WE ARE CLOSED for day tickets on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th September.

Angler's Mail Feature

ANGLER'S MAIL magazine has paid a visit to Barford for a brilliant Action Replay feature, appearing in the issue on sale for one week from Tuesday, August 25. Learn a great method that really works well for the carp here!
Priced £1.70 the Angler's Mail issue also comes with a free glow-in-the-dark disgorger. Be quick, we hear demand will be high for this issue!
We also have a few places left for the 2 Day Festival held on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August on Barford Match Lake and Colton lake. Cost is £50, please give me a call to book in.
Day Tickets this Weekend

Our apologies but we will not be able to offer day tickets this Sunday 23rd August.
Open as usual mid-week (closed Mondays don't forget) and Saturday 22nd August day tickets will be on the Pleasure and Top Lakes.
May we take the opportunity to thank all day ticket anglers for their understanding this summer! It has been an unusual one to say the least and we are slowly returning to normality. But thank you all for your support, it's been appreciated.

Open as normal mid-week and the Pleasure Lake will be open this Saturday 15th Augsut but apologies we can't offer day tickets on Sunday 16th August. Open as normal again from next Tuesday.
We will also not be able to offer any day tickets on Sunday 23rd August.
Day Ticket Catch

Many thanks to Mel who sent the photo below in. He is pictured with a carp taken during his last visit with his father to the fishery on Thursday July 23rd.
This 12lb 6oz carp was caught on peg 15 on the Pleasure Lake taken on a waggler float fished on the bottom with a small piece of luncheon meat about 2 rod lengths out.
