The 3rd round in the popular winter league proved to be a bit tighter than previous rounds with a few teams tying on section points on the day, overall winner Brian Gooch (Sensas Angling Direct Blue) won the match from the match lake peg 30 with 52lb 8oz. Brian fished a straight lead with hair rigged corn and lossefed a few grains of corn over the top for a narrow win.
2nd placed J Collip (Fox Match Bills Tackle) narowly missed out from unfancied peg 13 from the Pleasure lake, fishing a open end feeder and hair rigged corn.
